Check for Interference Between the Router and Chromecast

Depending on how you’ve got your Chromecast connected to your TV for power, you may experience random power cycling. Reasons for Not Finding Chromecast on Your Devices

If you are using android then turn on wifi, bluetooth and location and open the google home app. Be within 10 meters from your chromecast and that should be all. If switching your phone to airplane mode does not fix the issue for you, there are chances that the issue is being caused by your network connection. Unfortunately, simply toggling the WiFi connection on your phone won’t do the trick here.
On the first-generation Chromecast, hold the button for approximately 25 seconds or until the LED starts blinking red. After that, use Google Home to add Chromecast again and, hopefully, it will stick this time instead of disappearing for no apparent reason. Soon, the red light should turn into a blinking white light. When it does, you can release the button.
